Belkins took home a Web Excellence Award for SEO in the Advertising & Marketing category, selected by an independent jury from more than 1,000 entries across 29 countries.
This one means a lot because there wasn’t one campaign or sudden traffic spike behind it. It reflects several years of work building Belkins’ organic authority while search itself kept changing.
A few years ago, our website had thousands of pages and articles. We decided to cut that down to roughly 100 core pages and focus on making each one genuinely worth ranking.
Instead of publishing and moving on, we treat our most important pages as living assets. We regularly rewrite and update them with new data, case studies, client examples, subject-matter expert input, stronger search-intent coverage, internal linking, and UX improvements.
That approach has helped us reach:
30,000+ unique monthly organic visits, up from around 7,000 three years ago
#1 rankings for most of our key commercial keywords
Around 95% AI visibility/share of voice in our category
Hundreds of organic backlinks every month
All with a core SEO team of two people
One of the biggest drivers has been original research. We regularly publish benchmark reports, surveys, market studies, and analysis based on data from our own campaigns and network. That gives journalists and other websites something useful to reference, generating backlinks naturally and strengthening the site's authority over time.
AI has changed the way we work too, but not by helping us publish ten times more content. We use it to improve briefs, find missing questions, surface relevant case studies and expert input, strengthen internal linking, and identify places where unique data can make a page better.
There was no SEO hack behind the result. Mostly, it has been years of doing the same things consistently: fewer pages, better content, original data, regular updates, and a lot of patience.
This award is a meaningful milestone for the team and a sign that the long-term approach is paying off.
